East Haddam is on the east side of the CT River and is where you can take the swing bridge over the river to Haddam. East Haddam is home to lots of Preserves making it a quiet country setting. East Haddam is also home to Devils Hopyard State Park, Gillette Castle State Park, and the Goodspeed Opera House.
